What did you feel when you heard you were the recipient of the Academic Excellence Scholarships Recognising Outstanding Performance in Undergraduate Studies?
Excited! I got goosebumps when I saw the email.

What do you think are the personal qualities that have contributed to your academic achievements?
Commitment to studies and striving to give my best effort.
How do you motivate yourself towards your studies?
Believing that I am capable of achieving excellent marks and trying to realize that. I want to do my best.
Who are your role models?
Not sure if I have any. Perhaps who I will be, or at least who I want to be, in 10 years can be my role model.
What are your goals for the future?
To continue to excel in my courses, network, and find what area of engineering I wish to pursue.
What are three things you enjoy most about studying at the University of Newcastle?
1. The environment at Callaghan campus (not the mosquitoes)
2. Student lounges where I can study and mingle with other students
3. Opportunities for employment and interaction with academics and other students
What tips do you have for other students when it comes to excelling in their studies?

Do your best to learn independently, but know when you need to ask for help.
